DRAFTING & DESIGN

Doak Design provides drafting and design services for multiple clients in the small commercial category. It can be handled as a drafting service provided to an architect or engineer, or simply as a design service if it falls under certain criteria.

Small commercial design is limited to 10,000 square feet for one story and 6,000 square feet for two story buildings. Anything larger than that can certainly be done but will require the participation of a structural engineer. This is regulated under the Architectural Exemptions (544a.18).
